Two women push children on swingsThank you so much to the more than 7,000 of you who took part in the Age 32 Survey. We’re so grateful for your contributions. The information from the survey is now available for researchers, paving the way for new findings on issues that matter for our society.

Age 32 Survey

The Age 32 Survey is special because it provides an insight into how you’re getting on at a really pivotal time in your adult lives as well as your experiences of a pandemic and a cost of living crisis.

In this latest survey, we covered a range of topics with you, including your physical and mental health, work and finances, your relationships, and whether you have children or are planning to. We also asked you about your childhood circumstances so that researchers could link up earlier experiences with your adult lives.

Why do we follow your life?

Next Steps is helping researchers, policymakers and others understand what life is like for your generation. By following your life from when you were a teenager, were able to see how your experiences shape the progression of your life.

What happens next?

Researchers from across the world can now access this latest survey information. They will be able to analyse this new data alongside information you’ve previously shared with us. This doesn’t contain names, addresses or other personal details that could directly identify study members.

We will keep you up to date with the latest research findings as they emerge, so you can see why your contributions to Next Steps are so important.

Keep an eye out here and on our social media to be the first to see them.

Thanks again for continuing to be a part of this important study!
